Frequently Asked Questions

What prerequisites do I need before starting?

None for Beginner modules. You only need basic measuring skills and access to a flat practice surface. We recommend a tape measure, speed square, tapping block, pull bar, spacers, and a fine-tooth blade.

How do you verify skill mastery?

Each course includes acceptance criteria checklists and scenario tasks. Submit photos or short clips of your results for coach feedback. Passing requires meeting measurable tolerances.

Do you cover moisture testing and acclimation?

Yes. We teach RH and MC testing basics, when to use moisture barriers, and how to acclimate planks properly to reduce expansion-related issues.

Is there a certificate upon completion?

Yes, you’ll receive a digital certificate after passing assessments. It represents curriculum completion, not a license. We do not promise job placement or earnings.

What is your refund policy?

If you haven’t completed more than 20% of a course, request a refund within 14 days of purchase. We’ll review within 3 business days.

Do you provide tool lists for each module?

Yes. Each module includes a recommended tools list and optional upgrades for cleaner results and safer cutting.

Are there live sessions or only self-paced?

Most modules are self-paced with optional live clinics for critique and Q&A. Schedules are posted in the catalog when available.

Do you cover stairs, nosings, and tricky trims?

Yes. Our advanced track dives into stair systems, nosings, bullnose options, and clean terminations at rail posts and landings.

Can I access content offline?

Course PDFs and checklists are downloadable for offline reference. Video components require an internet connection.
